From what I've seen so far, it's a great work of writing. I like how you combine the military aspects of the world with the threat of kaiju.

After all, we can't forget who the real monsters are...

So I just finished reading this story (it took all day too!), and all I can say is...wow.

I don't think I've read a kaiju fanfic where mankind has faced so many losing battles. There's usually some kind of solution, or a light at the end of the tunnel, but this one...the plot stayed very dismal all the way through for the human population. That made it kind of difficult to get through, but I felt compelled to get through the entire thing.

So lemme tell ya the things I liked about it.

1: I liked seeing the world's nations pulling together against a common foe. That was only hinted at in the 90s Godzilla movies, but it wasn't really shown. G-Force was basically made up mostly of Japanese with a few other minorities thrown in for no other purpose than for them to be in the scene. But your story delved deeper into international relationships, and it was very well done.

2: So many monsters all at once wrecking havoc! It's like what the subtitle says on the box for Final Wars, "Earth: Outnumbered, Outmatched, Out-Monstered."

3: Brooding Miki? I'm of two minds on this. It kinda works, but it kinda doesnt. It would be a cool idea if her feelings could be a little more elaborated upon.

Now for the things that didn't really work for me:

1: The political views you kept bringing up or alluding to. I don't fault you for having them, but I kinda got the idea that you didn't like Bush or the Iraq War the first 5 times you mentioned it in the story.

2: There's quite a few grammar issues with this story. Among other things, you put question marks on the end of statements, a lot of statements, which made the dialog sound a bit confusing in my head.

3: Brooding Miki? It just doesnt seem consistant with her character to wish destruction and death upon mankind. Like I said earlier, if her feelings were a bit more elaborated upon, I might understand why she felt the way she did in this story. But its not, so there's a very incomplete picture of her attitude.

And since this is a sequel to the 90s movies, shouldn't Miki have some sort of connection to this Godzilla, who was infact Godzilla Junior at one time?

Well, besides all of that, it was an enjoyable read. I'm looking forward to reviewing your next stories.
