The Red Bamboo was a terrorist organization that was planning to use nuclear weapons and monsters to threaten the world, kidnapping slaves from Infant Island and executing interlopers to further their goals. Then they ran into Godzilla and the rest is history.
This is assuming you were referring to the "War on Terror", because you weren't very specific on which hot-topic war (Pakistan vs. India, Palestine vs. Israel, etc.) you wanted to elaborate on. Thinking more deeply on the matter, it is also difficult to imagine what would bring Godzilla all the way to the Middle East. Maybe a genetically engineered monster, but that would be reusing an old plot.
