This might be the only Harryahausen movie I've only seen once (despite owning it), so I'm eager to revisit it.

BTW, I DID watch the Bermuda Depths, I just haven't had a lot of time lately to post here... but I'll post my thoughts in that thread this weekend when I have more time.

The Good
Classic Adventure, good story. Ray Harryhousen effects and creatures.. and in the creatures actually interact with the people pretty well which is better than some other stop motion pictures. The giant bird scene is especially good considering the interaction it has with the fence and the rider


The Bad
Despite how "mysterious" the island is, it lacks the same sense of wonder that makes 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea such a re-watchable classic.
