I never saw the question; been busy working on Famous Monsters and other stuff. Yes, on stage, Mr. Nakajima said that he didn't play Magma — after I got back to San Francisco, I checked his biography, and he did play Magma with Katsumi Tezuka. It was a quick and unmemorable job, so he might have just been having a senior moment. Meanwhile, that same night, he regaled us after dinner with vivid memories and stories from working on numerous Kurosawa films. While we must bear in mind that he is 82 years old, we must also realize that he also suffered a stroke in the last ten years. While it has aged him considerably, we should be happy that he has lived this long and happily.
