I'm not a die hard gamer by any means, but I certainly enjoy console gaming. But I've always prefered Playstation products (the fact that they've typically been early adopters of new home video tech like DVD and bluray has always played a big role in this as I'm very much into film and home video tech).

But this... based on what I'm reading, sounds horrible. I mean, I was unlikely to get the new xbox over the new playstation but now there's pretty much no way I'm ever going to even use one of these things. Even at a friend's house (not that it sounds like MS would allow me to use a friend's anyway....).

We already knew that.

BTW, I've decided that the only way I will buy this tv giant box thing is only if the Kinect talks to me in GLaDOS' voice. I mean, if the thing is going to be watching me 24/7, they might as well let me get some enjoyment out of it.

MS has canceled their round table discussion with the media after their E3 conference.

That is definitely not a good sign.

It's over, MS has pretty much just said, "Here Sony, you have this generation. We are going to sit this one out."

What's this I hear too about the kinect monitoring the room and if too many people are present it doesn't play and instead prompts you to upgrade your license?
