Played more Horizon today. I'm now getting my ass beat by this giant bird thing that is flying around the desert area I'm in. In fact, what's worse is that him attacking me draws in everything friggin creature imaginable. There was one battle where I had the bird thing, a crocodile, two Sawtooth's, an ostrich, and three Scrappers. I managed to overide the Sawtooths and they took out everyone but the bird (Stormbringer I think). I'm just happy the mother "OH GODZILLA! WHAT TERRIBLE LANGUAGE!"' T-Rex didn't show up at that time because it took me 24 minutes to beat one of those.

WIth that said, my game travels went like this, I died, I died again, I died some more, I discovered Red Rocks, then I died, and again, aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand again, I found another of those giant machine things I had to climb up on after taking out an plethora of bandits, and then I ran like hell heading towards a mission and was being chased by a Stormbringer, 3 of the crocodiles, and a Sawtooth when I ran into a campfire to save for the night.

I regret judging this game. When I first saw it the whole mechanical animal thing didn't seem appealing to me but after spending some decent time with it, I'm very impressed. The game is absolutely gorgeous in 4K HDR and honestly makes me more excited for the Xbox One X.

That being said I'll probably take a short break from HZD since it's an open world game. I'm going to try and finish off Prey probably next week and then move back to HZD.

So my adventures in Horizon today took me to another Cauldron that had the friggin Thunderjaw as a boss, but the reward for kicking its ass is that I can no override it, something called a Behemoth, and Stormbringer, and some other creature, so that's cool. Not sure how I would even knock any of those creatures down to even override them though since it's not like I can sneak up on them. Did a few more side quests and finally went to Meridian and learned what I do with all of my collectibles.

As much as I want to though, I doubt I'll be able to 100% this game since it is going to be impossible to find all of the data logs.

Man, I just spent 10 hours on Horizon and I still haven't even finished uncovering the map. I did however acquire all of the Banuk Figures and Ancient Vessels. I've got two more Vantage Points to go and 5 more Metal Flowers. Oh, and I got another Power Cell. I did do a few story missions though and met a new tank-like weapon called the Deathbringer. It wasn't hard to beat, but boy does it take a lot of damage from you. I also ran into these mole-like creatures in a corrupted zone, which I swear the game glitched on me. These two creatures just show up as if they went through the floor and when I went into the Corrupted Zone itself, they just disappeared. I had to go back to the side of the map against the mountain to get them to show up again for me to finish off. I also managed to beat a Corrupted Zone with a couple of Behemoths in it. Good god they were not fun to deal with.

Spent another few hours in Horizon today. I finished all of the cauldrons, the bandit camps, the Longnecks, and Corruption Zones today. The last cauldron was pretty damn long, but it was nice that it wasn't just the same thing as the other four, so that was cool. I also finally got to override a Behemoth, which was cool.

Holy ****ing christ. I played through a lot of the story missions today in Horizon since I've gotten nearly every collectible and wow, what I experienced was gut wrenching. The entire revelation of Zero Dawn was mindblowing and tragic. And then the story behind the villain of the game was like DAMN!!!

I thought I was nearly done with the game, but nope, turns out I've still got a lot to do both story missions wise and side quests. Next week is going to be a blast.

If there is one complaint I do have right now it is that I acquired some completely useless weapon called a Tearbringer or something like that. I find it to be utterly pointless when my Tearblaster Arrows are just fine.

Oh, it was also funny because one of my friends comes over when I'm doing this mission in a bandit citadel (or something). I climb up the mountain area to the side of it and I pretty much snipped every single bandit in the head with my arrows. It was a blast just hearing my friend talk about how unfair it is that I am killing these dudes without them even knowing they died. :lol

I haven't been able to play HZD in awhile been busy with work. After Saturday I've got a mini vacation so I'll play a lot of it then.

Last thing I did main story wise was I helped the Nora defeat a bandit camp where they stock piled the explosive barrels.

My god was this game so damn amazing. Sony just keeps hitting it out of the park. Next up, Crash Bandicoot.

I'm going to be taking a break from Horizon starting tomorrow going to divide my time between it and Dead Rising Remaster on Xbox One. Chances are I'll mainly be playing HZD though.

I took a break from Horizon to go to The Wolf Among Us and I finished that up and I could wait any longer so I started Crash Bandicoot.

After Crash I'll play through an Xbox One game then go back to HZD.

See, I just can't do that. I need to play a game all of the way through otherwise I will lose interest in it and it'll break up the flow for the story if I go play other games inbetween.

Well crap, I am out of Crash games to play now...

Downloaded the demo for Monster Hunter Stories on 3DS. And it is a fun RPG that I plan on picking up. The great thing about the demo, unlike most 3DS demos, there's no limit to how many times you can play/access is (usually it's 30), and it's not a chopped off section of the game for you to play around in but the it's the whole first section of the game. And the full game will continue from your demo as well.

I guess the last games beat were The Division and Ghost Recon Wildlands. I'm currently playing around with Homefront Revolution but I only have about an hour or so into that game.

So far I really like it. The reviews are brutal and say it's a glitchy mess but I haven't had any problems with it. The graphics are nice and the framerate is smooth. The story is interesting and the controls are fluid.

It took 27 years and multiple times beating it, but I was finally given a trophy for completing the original Mega Man:

Just finished Dead Rising 2 on Xbox One with a friend, we're still playing through the game though to get some acheivements together. As for solo play I'm playin Dishonored on Xbox One.

After I finish Dishonored I'm going to go back to Zelda TP HD on Wii U then if I have time before the Xbox One X comes out I'm going to go through Ratchet and Clank on PS4. Once the X comes out I'm finally going to play through Rise of the Tomb Raider.

I've completed Mega Mans 2-5 now.

Well I just finished up a nice 7 hour run on the Metroid II remake. The game is so damn good. Sometimes the metroid bosses are a little frustrating, but nothing too bad. It is so nice to play a Metroid game again. The controls take a little time to get used to. In fact, I still forget to hold L1 so I'm not running and shooting at times. Same goes for the melee button. I've yet to even figure out how to melee the other two versions of the Metroids.

Anyway, I love the overall look at the world, especially the area sthat have creatures in the background just chillin. There was one that decided to dive into the water in the background and then I've seen a giant centipede thing crawling around. It's pretty cool. Sadly, the music is as lackluster as it was in the original version. I forget it is even there some times.

Can't wait to dive back into the game some more either later tonight or tomorrow.

Played through Mega Man 7 and 8 today. Good riddance!!!!!

I started Uncharted The Lost Legacy today and it has been a blast. The chemistry and banter between Chloe and Nadine has been phenomenal. I love how they will constantly be sarcastic towards each other. The puzzles have been great and there hasn't been a ton of goons around that takes away from the exploration. The chapters are long though (in a good way). I was on Chapter 3 for about 4 hours and I've yet to finish Chapter 5.
