I doubt they ever will do a remaster. Projekt CD Red has already confirmed they're moving away from The Witcher series. To be honest with you The Witcher 2 is the only other game in the series worth playing the first game isn't very fun and is really sluggish.

I would suggest either getting The Witcher 2 on PC if you have a decent PC or if you plan on ever getting an Xbox One then it is backwards compatiable on that.

Tonight I finished off Halo 5 and Quatum Break, Halo 5 wasn't very good IMO I just can't get into this series any more. QB was ok it wasn't bad but it wasn't anything special either. The story was intriguing and I felt like I was in an interactive Doctor Who episode.

If we get our AC fixed I'm going to play The Witcher 2 some more and I'm think I'm going to start Assassin's Creed Unity too. With it being so warm in our house I don't want to tax my computer any further than basic stuff. I don't have the money to build a new one right now.

One of my friends is a huge Halo fanboy and he bought the X1 just to play Halo 5 and it was his least favorite game in the franchise. He's having more fun playing Destiny on his PS4 than what he got out of Halo 5.

I just started playing a fan-made game that's been in the works for about a decade: AM2R (Another Metroid 2 Remake). As the title implies, it's a remake of the 1991 game Metroid II: Return of Samus for the Nintendo Game Boy done in the style of 1994's Super Metroid for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System and 2004's Metroid: Zero Mission for the Nintendo Game Boy Advance. AM2R has had numerous demos released over the years, but on Saturday, August 6th, 2016, the author has released the first full version on the game's blog page. Let me reiterate, this is not an official Nintendo product but a free fan made game. That being said, if any of you like classic 2D side scrolling Metroid games or just Metroid in general then you need to download and play this game. It's a fine, professional level work, and it's easily as good as some of the better entries in the official Metroid game series. If you've been starved for a good new Metroid game or just appreciate 2D side scrolling platformers, you need to download and play AM2R before Nintendo potentially puts their legal foot down and makes it disappear.

Well I finished Watch_Dogs 2 today and I'm not sure how I feel about it anymore. I was enjoying the game quite a bit, but the last mission left a lukewarm taste in my mouth. It was quite underwhelming and felt more like just a standard mission, not the be all end all mission of the game. There was a mission earlier on where I got to drive in a Tachikoma (sort of) and blow things up. That was like the most awesome thing ever. That should have been THE final mission. Not to mention I sat through the 38 minute end credits which was boring and there wasn't even a post-game conversation like the GTA series has. Oh, and if you are going to have 38 minutes worth of credits, HOW ABOUT SHOWING THE CITY IN THE BACKGROUND INSTEAD OF A BLACK EMPTY SCREEN?!!!!

The story was mediocre, but the missions were at least fun. I love how there are multiple ways to approach a mission, especially when playing with stealth. Unfortunately, the map is bogged down in the normal Ubisoft way as there are lots of things on the map, but none of it really does much of anything in the long run. There's nothing to do after you beat the game other than the online crap.

The characters themselves were fun because they never took themselves seriously. On the other hand, they never broke the fourth wall at all, which was kind of annoying given the nature of everything else. I mean, this is a game where a normal guy is doing super powered things without having super powers. That really should have warranted some type of fourth wall stuff there of having the characters know they are part of a video game like the Metal Gear series does.

The driving and shooting mechanics still sucked though. Also, the radio stations were quite lackluster and outside of a few tracks, there wasn't anything truly great about the music, especially from the Pop station. At least the electronic/dance station had something good out of it. Graphically is was cool. They were a vast improvement over the "OH GODZILLA! WHAT TERRIBLE LANGUAGE!" show we got with the first WD game and San Francisco was gorgeous to explore. Sadly, the sunsets/rises were nothing to write home about like they are in GTAV and RDR. Also, the city seemed quite dead at times.

Overall, it was just another Ubisoft game, but at least this one was fun for the most part. I'm going to give it a 7/10. I probably would have given it an 8 if this had been the very first WD though. The worst part is I just have no desire to ever replay this game or even redeem the Zodiac Killer DLC code it came with. I'll be putting it up on ebay in a few days.

I'm playing CoD Infinite Warfare and it's pretty decent so far. After I beat that I'm going to work on The Witcher 2 until RE7 comes out in a few weeks. The cool thing is I have a long weekend the week RE7 comes out but I'm not sure how much I'll get to spend playing it due to the fact I'm probably going to be moving again.

So I started Mafia III today and can I say that I suddenly miss Ubisoft's tendency to fill up their open worlds with stuff? They might be busy, but at least there is stuff to do. This world is so god damn boring. It's lifeless, colorless, and the game itself is joyless. The characters are taking themselves way too seriously and everything feels desaturated DC Cinematic Universe style (the graphics also look like the graphics from GTAIV on the PS3). I played it for a good 5-6 hours and the missions are pretty much the same thing over, just the number of enemies vary. Not only that, but the game is done in a documentary style, so it will at times cut to some character talking about the main character or a court room hearing about him, and it just completely pulls me out of the immersion. The only elements I can really praise right now are the stealth and the swamp land. Even the cops seem bored when you do stuff because they will only chase you within a small radius. Of course, you also have to obey traffic laws in this game or you will get a wanted level for going through a red light. -_-

I don't know if I'm actually going to be able to make it through this one, but we'll see. Maybe I'm just burnt out on open world games after what I've just played through or maybe I just like my characters to be fun. At least the driving doesn't suck.

So I'm probably more than halfway through Mafia III's story and it is so frustrating that this game has a lot of cool ideas bogged down by PS2-era game mechanics. There is no way to fast travel, and there will be missions that require you to go to the other side of the map to get a car or something, and then you have to bring back to the other end. Did New Orleans not have taxi services back in the 60s? Also, there have been times when I got killed and was respawned (once again) on the other end of the map. This is very frustrating. On the other hand, the AI is dumb as ****. My god, I had an entire stack of bodies by just whistling and knifing the dudes.



Now the taking over the city while forming an empire has been quite fun, albeit repetitive. The missions are pretty much, "Infiltrate hideout, kill or recruit boss, and give hideout to your Lt." There is very little else in the game outside of stealing some cars, which are part of that other end of the map issue I mentioned above. I will say this, getting to kill members of the KKK was quite satisfying and I wish there were more I could get rid of. I also love the bayou areas as they are filled with atmosphere and isn't something I've seen in a video game since the Resident Evil Remake.

Overall, I'm glad that I've been playing it, but I'm also glad I got the game for free. I'm most likely going to sell it off once I beat it though as I doubt I will ever replay it.

I finished Mafia III today and overall, I'm glad I played it, as there were some truly great missions, especially those that dealt with the bayou (and one level that ended up giving the alligators a buffet), and the ending was satisfying. It's just not a game that I ever see myself replaying when there is so much better out there (like every GTA game). The most awesome thing was that at the end It was very enjoyable to watch. Anyway, I give the game a 7/10.

Just finished CoD Infinite Warfare a few weeks ago it's a fund game not my favorite in the series but fun.

Now working on RE7 which is a really good sequel IMO. It reminds me a lot of the first RE just in first person with elements of Alien Isolation and the third RE game (being stalked). So if you've enjoyed any of those games I mentioned then pick this up. I'm playing this on Xbox One since I have the other games on that platform.

I've been playing through Prey on Xbox One and its a good game but really slow in places.

Other than that the last game i beat was Abzu which really doesn't count since you can beat it in two hours.

On a side note I've been kind of burnt out on games as of late not sure why.

Last game i beat- Xenoverse (the first one) and before that Godzilla so i've been mia a few years.
Currently playing- tekken 7 (it's great btw but i wish it had more single player modes like survival that has been in every tekken over the last 20 years, music rocks and on ps4 you can even set the soundtrack to one of the previous 8 games, mishima story mode is also nice, dont know why it took 3 years to port it from arcades though).

I've given up on Prey. The game has it's moments but then I get to parts where they suck the fun right out of the game. I'm not even sure how far I got into the game probably not very far at all.

Plus on top of that I've been kind of in a gaming slump where I don't feel like playing anything but I want to play a game.

Decided to restart RE0 HD on Xbox One since i kinda screwed myself over on my last save. I should be able to breeze through that this week. Once I'm done with that I'll move to Horizon Zero Dawn on PS4 then back to Prey and try to beat that.

So I started playing Horizon and it's been fun thus far. I've put about 8-9 hours into the game and just got access to go outside the sacred grounds. Some of those machines have been annoying as hell, especially when there is suddenly a swarm of them attacking you. Graphically, it's beautiful and the controls are pretty smooth for the most part. Although, I wish there was a way to dodge enemies charging at you as that would be so much simplier than trying to run in a circle like a chicken with a head cut off.

Just finished RE0 earlier tonight now it's back to HZD. I just managed to beat the first boss machine in that well its more like a mini boss.
