The Linkle thing seems pretty fun. But I just wonder if there's away to get the character for the WiiU game. Which I don't recall there being any sort of cross connectivity between the two games and I'd rather not have to buy the game on 3DS just for her and all the other characters that version has got. I swear other than graphic, it's the superior version.

With their trend, does this mean we'll get a Super HD version of Skyward Sword on the next system? Hopefully with the ability to not use the motion controls, perhaps? Pipe dream I know.

Skyward Sword probably won't get an HD remaster due to the fact they designed it to use the motion controls. Unless the NX is backwards compatiable with the Wii and Wii U I don't see an HD version of that coming out.

Neither do I. But I loved everything in Skyward Sword but the motion controls. They weren't terrible, as far as other Wii games are considered they were good for the most part, but it was just so damn tiring to play.

So if I could have a copy of Skyward Sword that gave me the option to play, for the most part, with regular controls, it would be not only my favorite Zelda game, but one of my favorite games ever.

I still need to finish Skyward Sword I got to the time chaging desert temple and just never finished it. I'll probably play through it next year though with TP HD and Zelda Wii U coming out next year I kind of want to play through the whole series especially titles I missed playing/haven't beaten which is practically all of them. In fact the only Zelda games I've beaten are the first on the NES, Wind Waker and Twilight Princess.

Don't expect to beat Zelda 2: Adventures of Link. When people talk about Nintendo Hard, this is what my mind jumps to. But I do love it's gameplay and the bigger world. It has this darker atmosphere to it that I really enjoy. But I never have been able to get past the second temple without emulating and cheating.

A part of me wants to go back and replay Spirit Tracks, the only game I haven't finished, because (long story short more or less) I got stuck on the last stupid flute thing.

So it's basically the Gamepad that plugs into a TV and you play as a controller without any screen or you can take it with you and play it instead of your 3DS, huh? Um, yeah, that's kind of stupid. I'd rather just play my Wii U. So are the games just going to be little cartridges like the DS/3DS games? At this point though, I think it is safe to say Nintendo is done when it comes to home consoles. Looks like I'll juet get Breath of the Wild on the Wii U. And here I was expecting BotW to be the inferior version on the Wii U, but the Wii U one is going to actually be the superior one, but with no secondary screen on the controller means no on screen item menus in Zelda and I can never play a Zelda game again that doesn't let me pick and choose my items on a screen. Oh, and the regular game controller is HUGE!! Like Dreamcast huge. WTF Nintendo?

I think you'll be surprised by how much excitement the switch is generating. I haven't seen this much interest in what they're doing since the Wii came out a decade ago. And besides the controller having detachable joysticks, there is a pro controller that is said to be as comfortable as the Xbox one's http://gamingbolt.com/nintendo-switch-p ... iler-actor . The screen is said to be 720P which will help to preserve battery life, but there seems to be no reason it can't output 4k when attached to a capable screen. And most importantly developers are excited meaning we should see some good content. I'm hopeful they'll be able to take advantage of their huge handheld market and fuse that with their console market. Nintendo is constantly pushing the envelope in creative ways, and I'm glad to see they're still taking risks when everything else is moving in the same direction

Just so you know, that was posted when the Switch was revealed which happened to be at the exact same moment I was dealing with a copyright strike from Toei for a Kamen Rider review, so I wasn't really giving it my full attention.

The Switch has some cool ideas, but Nintendo needs to earn my trust and faith in them back. I haven't turned my Wii U on since June 3rd 2015, which was to buy the SNES DKC trilogy. The only game I have bought since then is Twilight Princess HD and I'm probably going to buy Breath of the Wild on the Wii U since I can use the gamepad for my item selection. I just can't go back to slow, clunky item menus on the TV anymore with a Zelda game. They've spoiled me with ALBW, WWHD, OoT3D, and MM3D. Plus, I'm not planning to pick up a Switch at launch and I'm not going to wait any longer to pick up the game when it comes out in March.

If Nintendo really wants to start rebuilding my faith in them, they need to commit to a real Metroid game on the machine.

I'm going to keep this short.

Conference was a borefest. The translator guy was so monotone and emotionless I felt like he was trying to put me to sleep rather than sell me anything.

Zelda is the only launch title worth getting. The problem is, Zelda is also the only titled worth getting until Mario comes out in like Nov.

More gimmicks. UGH!!

Controllers are way overpriced and paying to play online for a Nintendo console is a joke.

There were 3, at least, different translators and one was ugodly terrible. Like a nervous teen caught naked in the kitchen by his girlfriend's father. He totally butchered the Splatoon 2 and Sudo51 segments.

I'm sure there'll be more announcements for games, even launch games, coming soon.

I will admit 1-2-Switch looked the game that'd come with the system which you play once or twice and never touch it again. And the city part of Mario Odyssey gave me some 'Nam flashbacks to Sonic '06. Mario and that realistic-ish approach to that city/world just looked too stylistically different and kind of put me off. Everything else looked great.

The pricing on Nintendo Switch accessories is a bad, bad joke
It’s $90. I’m going to repeat this. It’s $90. What the living hell.

Nintendo Switch Joy-Con controller does some amazing things
Switch controllers include motion IR reader, “HD rumble”

So I was at TRU tonight and came across this and for some reason impulse bought it even though I won't have the console for a while:

I saw that it included the game's soundtrack and had to have it.

When you do get to play it Kain you won't be dissapointed. Especially if you love games like Skyrim and The Witcher 3. BotW is like a playable anime and honestly my only complaint with the game is there is a lack of traditional dungeons for the most part and that the weapons will break after extended use. Other than that the game is a dam near perfect Zelda expierence.

Nintendo probably has another version planned for the 2017 holiday (maybe even a SNES Classic). I know a couple friends that have them, kind of glad I never bought into the hype of getting one. Of the 30 games it came with, I really was only interested in about half, and all those were downloadable on the Wii/WiiU virtual Arcade.
There are no more good TV Shows, only ones that haven't disappointed me yet.

I could see Nintendo releasing a newer reworked version that was expandable in someway. The big thing is obviously more game options which Nintendo could do either by giving the NES Classic a network connection so it can access the Eshop, or perhaps keeping the whole thing off line and selling a series of Switch or 3DS carts with multiple games on them that (here's the kicker) come in cases shaped like NES carts.

I had first thought about making the carts themselves NES shaped, but there's no need to reinvent the wheel when Nintendo already has two styles of cart in use today. And Nintendo could easily give a revamped NES Classic multiple cart slots so users won't need to swap them out.

Reportedly, the NES Classic Controllers are being discontinued too. If a new version of the NES Classic could be on the way perhaps revamped controllers too. New controllers could either have lengthened cords (their most common complaint) or even be entirely redone with internals based on the Joy-Cons (chiefly making the controllers wireless and compatible with the Switch for playing Virtual Console games on it.

For those of you who wanted the Mini NES Classic Edition and missed out on it Nintendo announced recently that they'll be reissuing the system next year so that's good. I still plan on doing a Raspberry Pi3 with RetroPie installed myself.
