I vote no and if many of you visit other Godzilla message boards like Toho Kingdom, Atari, and Gamefaqs to name a few. You'd see a lot of fan backlash on these original monsters in fact 99% of the fans don't like or want the original monsters in the game. I'd like to cite Marvel Nemesis as an example. It was a game similar to this and it featured a ton of new characters for the Marvel Universe and yet they went to become unmemorable and made fans just want to play as classic Marvel characters they know and love.
Lets move onto the actual original monsters designs. I'll start off with Firelion, why not just include King Ceaser (assuming KC doesn't make the roster cut) I mean they both share common origins rooted in Chinese mythology and both are statues that come to life. Magmouth is basically like every other magma monster out there. The Vistor looks and as IGN states a Gigan/Orga hybrid. Finally the insect design looks sorta like the cyber bees from Zilla the Series and doesn't have that original of an origin.
My final point, they say these monsters will go on to be part of the Tohoverse but what about other original monsters in the Godzilla series? You have Bagan a fanboy's fanfic wet dream. You have the Toho created original monsters for the PSX game Godzilla Trading Card Battle and finally you have the Hanna Barbara toon and the Dark Horse comic's monsters. All these examples I just named where cases of original monsters that when unmemorable and where lost in the sands of time much like the Marvel Nemesis originals.
So in other words these original creations I feel are a step in the wrong direction, lets worry about getting monsters we know and love in first like Biollante, Hedorah, King Ceaser, Zilla, Kumonga, etc, etc. before we worry about putting in uninspired unoriginal monsters.
