I'm trying to work my way through the various difficulties right now I've got Easy, Normal, and Hard under my belt. I just have to do Very Hard and Inferno.
My friend and I usually play this co-op and it's pretty damn good we still don't have enough firepower to take out most of the inferno levels but we are getting some good weapons. We recently got a new type of Air Tortoise missle that does 4000 damage. Needless to say ants go flying.

I still want that "armaggeddon cannon" Goliath X, I think. The only place to get it is lvl. 45 on hard or inferno.......
So far, I've beaten the gam on easy normal and hard......and I made SURE I had a custom soundtrack playing in the background for those especially epic battles.
....like the Kaiju twins. I fought them using the ifukube Godzilla score, my remixed, reeditted Godzilla by Blue Oyster Cult, the ROAR! overture, some other orchestral tracks (too many to list) and "we're all to blame" by SUM41(Final Wars).....pretty nice if you ask me.
for the final mission, for some odd reason, I always get some dramatic song playing....
