I saw that too! This game is looking pretty awesome. I'd be all over importing it but I have concerns about how accessible or easy to play it will be for non-Japanese speakers. If other people get it and have no problems learning how to play it successfully (as in, actually follow the story, if there is one and progress through the game) then I might consider it but I'd vastly prefer a proper US English language release of it.

Legend Goji looks like a beast and also fits in surprisingly well amongst the Japanese kaiju, especially KG.

I found a copy of Unleashed the other day and finally bought it (from what I had played before, it was actually quite fun). Maybe if I squint my eyes and use my imagination, I can pretend I'm playing this.

This game looks pretty nice so far. I was thinking about preordering it from CD Japan, but I'm gonna wait just a little bit to see if it gets a US release on disc or on the PSN.

Apparently you can download the demo of this game by creating a Japanese PS3 account. I don't have a PS3, but if you do check it out.

I downloaded the demo. Pretty good so far. Enemy monsters that pop up are Mothra (larva and adult), Showa MG, Hedorah, and King Ghidorah. KG is not to be underestimated, he whooped my ass.

The controls do take a bit getting used to, but it's nothing too challenging.

How do you create a Japanese account?

You just make a new user and sign up for PSN with your region as Japan. Once the demo is downloaded, you can play on your regular user account.

I'm so glad they announced it for PS4 in the west as well, since I never ended up getting a PS3. A new Godzilla game next year, woo hoo!

EDIT: Unless of course it's an American-only release and doesn't come out in the UK. Hopefully if that's the case it'll be region-free, at least. And if not, then a rampage I will be going on.
