Godzilla FAQ

Stopped in Barnes and Noble today and ran across this...

https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_i ... XZO7L9DFFK

Kind'a surprised that there's been no mention of it, as it appears to be a rather nice book, along the lines of "The Illustrated Encyclopedia of Godzilla" in how it's put together. I haven't had a chance to do more than thumb through it, but what I've seen so far looks interesting. And at only 20 bucks, I think it's going to be a nice plus for my Kaiju library. Just thought I'd put the word out....

I assumed this was more of general info book, as opposed to the more through books by Ryfle, Kalat, Ragone, etc.

Actually, from what I've read so far, this book is one of the nicer surprises I've had in a while. It seems to be a much more in-depth version of the "Godzilla Compendium" mixed with the aforementioned "Illustrated Encyclopedia of Godzilla" from Ed G. Covers pretty much everything(all the Godzilla films up to just before the release Shin Godzilla, Godzilla cartoons, with a nice section on Hanna and Barbara's 'toon, info on the talent involved, both in front of and behind the camera, etc., etc. ...)about the only thing it doesn't seem to cover is merchandising. One of the better English language books, imo, from what I've seen so far...
