It was t-e-h s-u-c-k, except for JJ, who is the BEST.

I dunno, I really enjoyed it. I went in expecting no humans from the sounds of things, but there's plenty given all of the other stuff going on.
I dug the fact that Orga was the Roswell Incident.

I won't elaborate on JJ since it's sort of a surprise. As for the suckiness, it is mostly due to the fact that there is zero character development in the issue except for Steven Woods yelling into a microphone.

Since the human characters are pretty much inconsequential to me, I thought the issue was great. The fight scenes were really awesome, until the end...I dunno... I really have a soft spot for Jet Jaguar, but I'm sorry he just looked goofy & out of place. With any of the kaiju, you can add detail to them without changing their identity, but Jet Jaguar looks like he stepped right out of 1973, especially with G-Force Moguera (which they just called Moguera for obvious reasons) in the same issue. But to be honest I dont know how it could be fixed. If any attempt is made to modernize his look, then he ceases to be Jet Jaguar. I dont regret his appeaerance, as I believe every Toho creation should be included. Perhaps the next issue will provide a plausible explanation as to why such a throwback would be used since it will no doubt be a "talkie" and the fight between Godzilla & Jet Jauguar will be secondary.

I do not give a darn about character development. I WANT MONSTER FIGHTS!! This series is perfect to me. I'm finally getting want I want in a Godzilla comic series.

Issue 6 sold 6,653 copies which unfortunately didnt continue issue 5's trend of increased sales, but overall the series has had fairly consistent numbers, so thats something. Maybe the new trailer drop will drive numbers up ::crosses fingers::
