So was this thing really that bad?

After liking the film so much and REALLY loving the opening montage, I'd love to see more of what happened before the film.

I don't know if it's that bad but its' certainly not very good.

I thought it was just overpriced but worth picking up for $15 or so instead of $25 or whatever the suggested retail was.
I think one thing is changed between the book and movie but otherwise not a lot of retreading even though it uses a lot of the same characters

Kind of wish the first issue of the new series had been a double issue. Not much content to draw in a new reader. I'll keep at it for now, but this first issue is an argument for trade waiting

Issue 3 of Tales from the Drift is the first one i haven't been disappointed with. I really think the first two issues should have been combined into a double issue.
