Anyway you look at it, ending that particular Godzilla comic series can only be a good thing. Hopefully a replacement will be much superior and while taking some of the lessons of Gangsters and Goliaths and Legends, will forge its own path.

Hmmmm... add this to the fact that IDW acquired the rights to the character Popeye and has stayed mum on their proposed ongoing series starting in 2012. This can mean only one thing: Godzilla and Popeye: Defenders of Earth, coming March 2012!
