Has anyone had a problem with the 24" Godzilla '14's roar? This morning, my figure started making noise like someone was hammering the button - except nothing was touching it. It did that for about 30 seconds or a minute, then stopped. My best guesses are that either the battery's died, or something's gone wrong with the wiring. I bought the figure in September, for whatever that's worth. I'm curious to see if anyone else has had the same problem.

EDIT: Some finagling suggests the ball joint inside the tail settled against the sound trigger or vice versa. An odd problem to suddenly have at 9 AM, but there you have it.

Yeah G54 is the only figure they have that doesn't have some glaring issue, as far as I can tell anyway. Hope they announce something new soon and hopefully it's better than what they've given us so far with this line.

I thought their standard sized G'14 was pretty solid. Especially considering price point.
The G'94 looks terrible in the packaging, but unboxed its fine aside from a short tail.
Really their biggest misstep (other than the horrid prototype) was G'84s legs.
I was definitely hesitant of this line, but I have preferred their articulation choices to SHMAs aside from things like G'94s soft rubber neck and bendy tails.
The prices probably help, I wouldn't be as forgiving in a figure that costs 4x as much.

I picked up the NECA video game Godzilla. I wasn't gonna get it, but then I saw it at a local shop and thought "What the heck?". So now I own this.
Even though it really should have been a Mosu-Goji.

Got mine from Entertainment Earth today. Honestly, I'm just sitting on it to re-sell.

A part of me wants to get a second one and mod it like and Imperial figure like I've seen online. That looked cool.

I'm really looking forward to the '54 coming out sooner or later. I love the sculpt, especially on the face and body. It's too bad he keeps getting pushed back.

Sounds to me like we may not see too many new toys until the 2016 movie products. Sounds like that's what Bandai Creation will be focusing on anyway. I bet that is what will happen.

NYCC? That isn't until Oct. That means they will have gone a full year without a new reveal. WTF is NECA doing?

In fact, what is up with the laziness of all of these companies doing Godzilla toys? MonsterArts hasn't done anything new since Feb and it sounds like we won't get anything new until mid-2016. NECA has only released a few repaints since Sept and who knows if 54 will actually be out when they claim. Bandai Creation (not that I buy their crap anyway) hasn't done anything in what, 2 years? Why bother making Godzilla toys in the first place if you aren't actually going to make Godzilla toys? Let someone who actually cares about the property have the license.
