I can't get the same poses and stability out of a revoltech than I would something from Tamashii. I got Revoltech's Grendizer and Gunbuster and Bandai's completely blew it out of the water twice. Also to my eyes, I find the revoltech joint a whole lot more intrusive than I do Tamashii's joints, since they are full blown spheres at times.

Speaking of joints, I think the main reason why NECA's cost is down overall is because they ape Matty Collector's joints. It works in some cases, but I have the feeling the SHFiguarts Batman is going to look substantially better than what Mattel can do.

If it were a classic costume Batman, I would agree. However, that N52 inspired Injustice abomination is down right ugly.

As I said, I am willing to give NECA a chance but they really have to wow me with a multiposseable Godzilla that I don't already own.

To be fair I've had several MacFarlane figs that broke and needed to be glued back together. A movie monsters sea creature had a leg broken off at the knee while in the original package.... a movie monsters mummy (which to be fair is very thin) broke at an elbow joint. And a couple of others. They're not indestructible.

I'm loving my 6" Godzilla.

It's the first Godzilla toy I've bought in almost a decade (I did most of my collecting as a teen). I really love this figure, and I'm totally down with NECA having a long line of Godzilla toys. I'd love to see the '54, '62, and '64 Godzillas, as well a Showa Rodan, Angilas, Mothra, and Ghidorah.

Honestly, if I got just those toys I could put practically all my old toys in storage and just display those, 'cause they are my favorite characters.

So I hear there's two color variants of the NECA Godzilla. A mostly standard black and then a blue-ish hued version. Is one more prominent than the other? I'd rather wait to pick up a blue-hued version if I could.

NECA is hit and miss but when they connect, they really connect. The Tresspasser figure from the Pac Rim line is one of the most gorgeous looking figures in my collection and it only cost 20 bucks. Figures like that, at that price point, really sour you on collecting figures from across the Pacific.
