My thanks to eabaker for passing the torch for the weekly spotlight. This week's featured kaiju is from the Millennium series: Kiryu (aka Millennium Mechagodzilla).

Let's start things off with the Bandai Creation 12" Kiryu:

Far from the most well-represented character in my collection - heck, the Millennium series as a whole is barely represented in my collection - but I do have a couple. Here's the first one that was convenient for me to photograph, from Bandai's 6" line:

I just took a little break from work because I was pretty sure the Bandai 8" figure was sitting in the trunk of my car. I was right. So now, here it is, my final contribution to this thread for the foreseeable future:

Bandai 12" MechaGodzilla DX from 2002 - definately one of those toys you want to make sure to remove the batteries.


And below, here are two lovely diecast Chogokin's also from Bandai, very heavy and extremely well-built!

One of my favorite Kaiju ever - yet I no longer own any figures of. (actually i still have that 12" US Bandai one).

I always though the line of 6"/8" Kiryu Bandais were all really awesome. I used to have one of those.

I love all the Tokyo SOS designs. One of my favorite Godzillas, my favorite Mothra, and my favorite MechaG.

That 12" BC that kicked off the thread is the only Bandai Creations figure i own. I definitely like that one.

It definitely has more parts to it. But i like the more dynamic pose and the paint job makes it stand out
