Gigan from US Toys, Tokyo Superfest exclusive from 2007. Hard to believe this charming little figure is only 3.5 inches tall!

Can we get a closer look at the tail on the Trendmasters?

Here's one great Gigan figure that hasn't been posted yet: Marmit's Iron Joe built-up kit...

Here's my entire 1972 Gigan collection, only missing the 25cm X-Plus

MekaGojira3k already posted the Revoltech Gigan (and quite brilliantly, I might add), but now that we're on page 2, I feel comfortable re-posting it with my own - admittedly more traditional - poses:

I like a lot of the Revoltech figures, but that Gigan just does nothing for me. Sad to say considering how much I love Gigan.

Really? Any particular issues you can put your finger on?

I actually rank it pretty high, but that might just be because I am a sucker for Gigan.

Those long, lanky arms and legs. Gigan really isn't a monster that benefits from that signature Revoltech look.

Okay, I see where you're coming from. It certainly compromises the suit accuracy, but I find the effect pretty cool.

The Marmit Gigan kit was first released in 2005, and rereleased in 2007 as the painted Iron Joe version as well as the unpainted kit. Just one of my pending projects, I still have four of the kits to build up and paint in case anyone is interested.

Here's the 10 Inch Gigan's tail,
I put the 6 inch in there as well.

The tail proportions are better on the 6 inch, but that's probably just because of how small it is. Whereas the 10 inch is a BIG toy and probably had to have a stubby tail.

Man, I never realized how awesome the para baby Gigan is until this thread. I actually think its better than the monster heaven version. I've actually always thought the monster heaven version was a little over rated. Don't get me wrong, it IS a very nice Gigan figure. I just never thought it was that much head and shoulders over some other Gigans out there. And I think the Iron Joe, Gigabrain, and Parababy all easily trump it.

I have a lot of love for the the parababy and the monster heaven versions... wouldn't mind picking up variants if I could find good deals on them. but that Iron Joe is a good looking sculpt. The wings on the VP bother me a bit.

^^^ Cute Gigan, from the 2007 Plex/Zacca Pap SD set. Wish I bought the whole set when it first came out, they had some nicely detailed figs. I just have the Atragon chase figure, never got around to snagging the full set.

It's a great series.. West Kenji released some SD figures that were great as well (gigan and baragon especially) but I have never seen them for anything resembling a decent price so i don't have any of those... I have seen a couple in person and the boxes were ridiculously oversized considering the 3" figure inside

Here is the X-Plus chess piece. It's actually the figure that got me started on this series since I am a big Gigan fan

Yeah, I posted my G'62 West Kenji in its own spotlight thread. I also have the G'69 with Minya but that's it. Very odd to package them in those big boxes, probably cut down on their sales a lot!

Just to keep the thread alive, here are a few shots of the 8" Bandai figure, already posted by thread starter Gojira Prime.

I'm gonna try to dig up my Pack of Destruction figure, and hopefully post that in the next couple of days.

Is that the second release of the metallic version? The blue looks like a much deeper royal blue as opposed to the more sky blue on the version I have. Or is it just the flash/lighting of the picture?
