Wouldn't surprise me. And then we'll see another Gipsy Danger down the line with *all* the fist, wrist and boat club accessories. That said, the Gipsy 2.0 is seriously a thing of beauty.

Yeah, "considering"? Already up for preorder.

They should've considered against it.

Yeah, for that price I'm likely to buy it. If only it came with a tiny Hannibal Chau.

It's always nice when senpai notices you. :P That's the Gipsy Danger I'll be waiting for. I've wanted such an arrangement for a while now. Hopefully it won't be too far off.

NEWS YOU CAN USE time!

Guess who is the fist Japanese company to have Pacific Rim under their name brand?.... MAX FACTORY! They will have Jaegers at the 1/350 size range from the looks of it. I do have a couple of pics to post, but will do so on the new day. Tired. This news appeared at Wonderfest pre-release info.

Those are kits, right?

I'd actually be more interested in some of those designs if I can build them myself.

They are indeed model kits. I was hoping for something a bit smaller, to be in scale with Monsterarts. But these are pretty cool.

Didn't Kaiyodo come out with some gashapon figures?

Yeah, Kaiyodo does have Pacific Rim gashapon figures; the first series came out around November I think and another wave is on the way soon. I've had my eye on them since I came across pictures (back I December I guess); I've almost ordered them a couple of times.

NECA stated that (at Toy Fair and on their Twitter) there will be at least 5 more Jaegers and 3 more kaiju in the Pacific Rim line for future releases. There were no pics at TF. :(

Love, love, love those chibis. Saw them in the movie and thought they'd be awesome to own. Glad to see some one else thought the same thing.

The only bad thing is that the in-universe Pacific Rim toys are SDCC exclusives. I have a feeling they're going to be a bit harder to actually purchase than "Jaegers in black plastic".

Boooooooo!

I mean come one, how hard is it to make simple shaped and small hunks of vinyl? I mean Funko is making a killing on stuff like that.

Here is a video showing the demonstration of Otachi's articulation and the baby is a little articulated as well. Looks cool!

Same here. I bought one off Ebay and hope that mine holds up without any loose arms like another figure reviewer on Youtube demonstrated with his copy of Otachi.

It took some effort to put his tail together but he is done. I don't have a good camera at work but that is where he lives. I like him a lot.

Pricey, but I would say he is one of the best NECA has put out yet.

Just as a heads up, the Toys R Us "in-stock email alert" system doesn't work. At least for me.
I set up an email alert on Saturday to let me know when Otachi came back in stock. No email since the confirmation that the alert was set up. I was looking things up on the website, and lo and behold, Otachi is in stock. Thanks for the heads up, TRU.

I was going to hold out for the winged version, but I wasn't sure if that one would come with a tail or not (or what the "battle damage" may look like), so I decided to jump on this guy now. I never saw Leatherback in stores and didn't want to miss out on this guy.

I saw 2 Otachis at the local Hastings last night.

They had it listed for $74.99.

I almost bought an Otachi, but nearly 80 bucks for that...I dunno, it doesn't compute for me.
I may eventually give in, but I didn't this weekend. Did pick up a Tacit Ronin. Haven't opened him up yet, but this is my first Jager figure since I hate most of the designs.

Last weekend I decided to grab Otachi. Not bad, the price is a bit too high considering the 24 inch Godzilla cost less.
