This one is actually my dad's, but I'll be inheriting it some day.

Tokyo, a smoldering memorial to the unknown, an unknown which at this very moment still prevails and could at any time lash out with its terrible destruction anywhere else in the world.

Odd that we haven't seen the cool 2004 Bandai Museum Godzilla '54 til now?

A few more G'54 specialty items, first the
Toho Eiga Ceramic Salt and Pepper Shakers

And then the first of the Carlton Christmas ornament series from 2005.

I finally got around to rounding up all of my Marmit Vinyl Paradise G'54 figures for a nice group shot. I also added some LED lights to show off the two translucent figs, kinda cool!

The Marmit VP-11 Godzilla '54 sculpt was the first Toho release in the Vinyl Paradise series. It was first released in 1996 with the traditional Black and Green painted versions, followed by the painted and translucent blue show exclusive figures. The translucent green version was a Showcase Collectibles exclusive for G-Con/G-Fest, I believe sometime around 1998.

Anyone have a pic of that out of package next to some other 54's?

Stopped by one of my storage units the other day and pulled out my Pack of Destruction version:

I hope nobody minds me bumping this.

These are all the '54 Godzillas in my collection: the BC Pack of Destruction figure, the new 2016 High Grade, the Hyper History set figure, and the NECA. This is the highest representation of a specific Godzilla suit* I have so far. The Banpresto is one I'd really like to get next.

*I actually have one more figure of Godzilla 2014, but that's not a suit.

...Aaaaand there it is!

When I posted previously, I hadn't expected to get a chance at obtaining both variants so soon! These figures are gorgeous - though they came a little sticky & smelly. That should go away in time, right?

Here's a more recent group shot of mine, now featuring the SHMA, but still managing to leave out the BC mini ( ):
