Also, Ric boy Jet Jaguar 25cm with light up eyes.

yikes. Im hoping there is a cheaper standard version of Leatherback, with a different head.

Ask and you shall slightly receive.

Standard version with less roary head and 3000 yen difference.

Xplus editon gets both heads for the extra money. But still, how could the Pacific Rim line NOT get light up features?

Once upon a time I had the Gigantic Burning G ric...which I sold awhile back. I bought him again and he arrived yesterday (yay for seller's remorse, I guess). In my opinion, it's still the best X Plus release and the Oxygen Destroyer is probably the coolest ric extra I'm aware of.

Heisei G has always been my favorite design, and the sheer ferocity of this sculpt makes it my favorite. The upcoming Gigantic 62 looks great as well.

I already have a giant Knifehead, and not too excited about a Leatherback.

Call me when they announce Slattern! :D

This is a pretty terrible picture of the sculpt. It makes the head look too big and the tail look too short. Seeing it from the side, the proportions seem a lot better.

While I know the arms were sculpted to a more traditional Godzilla style, I'd rather see the hands facing up much like all of the shots we have seen of Shin Godzilla. And yea, the angle of the picture makes this look off. Here's to hoping its just the angle. I expect to see this come out just in time for Godzilla's 62nd birthday (guessing), before the end of the year for sure though. X-Plus is going to want to capitalize on the release of Shin Godzilla so the sooner this releases the better.

Looking closer there are probably more seams than usual, however the figure was assembled prior to painting, so the seams are very well hidden. I hope this is a sign of things to come with future X-Plus figures

While I will not be collecting the Pacific Rim X-Plus figures, this guys looks really awesome.

All right gang, I need your help locating some figures.
I was recently in Japan, and saw a boxed set (cardboard box with black writing) of Final Wars Godzilla and 1954 Godzilla, no more than 6 inches tall. Not sure if they were kits or pre-assembled, but I'm pretty sure they were X-plus. I didn't have the space for them, but I regret not getting them and was hoping I could get some help figuring out what they heck they really were.

EDIT: Found out that they're from the Kaiju/Special Effects Museum collection: http://ric-toy.ne.jp/item_toho_m_pb.html
Found a few for sale (of course, more expensive than the ones I saw in Japan - should have bought them then and there!). Does anybody have pictures of these that aren't stock photos?

Some pictures started popping up on Facebook from Mike Johnson. He said they are pretty small and for the price, an easy pass for me.

I got them. Both figures are under 4 inches tall. Very detailed (especially for the size) but very overpriced. I'll try to get pics up tonight.

::EDIT:: i posted some pictures up on my tumblr and instagram side by side with their 30cm counterparts

These do look good for the size. I am on the fence about getting the Mothra and Godzilla 64 when and if those still happen. Definitely feel these are over priced. These two cost the as much as a standard 25cm figure on release.

I would like to get the remaining 3 figures they've shown (more so than the 2 they released) but i'd be willing to bet these didn't sell well. It seemed like the order period for these kept getting pushed back, and then out of nowhere they switched from resin to vinyl... I got into collecting with the small scale figures so i do have a soft spot for these (and its easy to display them in between larger figures) but i think the price tag was about double what it should have been.

Agreed. What was the other figure? G54, G64, G2004, Mothra 64 and ?. I can't remember.

And now we have a new 25cm Gamera 96 coming out with a new head sculpt. Head sculpt looks better detailed than the first release but the first release has a better pose to pair up with Legion.

Thanks for posting the pictures!
They do look REALLY good, but I have a hard time with that price, especially knowing I could have bought them for less just a few weeks ago. And knowing that they're only 4 inches.
I'll keep my eye out for a deal.
