my immediate thought was the sculpt is a little boring. especially compared to the Gigantic one. I do like that they did a proper light up gimmick for the burning effect (which i was surprised they didnt do with the gigantic one) .. It feels like the neck is too long or the head is too small.

Yeah I agree that's a really disappointing 25cm DesuGoji. I don't know if it's the style, color, or what, but it just looks a little too toy-ish (in terms of quality). Maybe an eventual 30cm one will be better? Otherwise I'll just stick to my Gigantic 95 or the 95 Marmits, as I feel both of those represent the image of DesuGoji better.

i'm not sure if it's stockholm syndrome, or if i stopped comparing it to the Gigantic desugoji, but i am kind of warming to it. I do wish they had done a full light up for the Gigantic figure, so maybe thats the pull...

X-Plus' Biollante and Godzilla light-up set came in this week. Both figures, especially Biollante, didn't disappoint. Biollante's light up feature is great in both lighting modes. Godzilla's fins look okay, but like the Ric 30 cm G '64, the lights don't spread to the tips.

Those pictures look like they are from the most recent Godzilla Dream book. Also if it's a Sakai sculpt, is it going to cost 30% more than the other figures in the Gigantic series?

X-Plus is finishing off 25cm DAM with a Mothra and Manda set!!

The Manda/Mothra set is listed as "Complementary Set Volume 1" does anyone know any additional details regarding "Complementary Sets" or plans for future volumes?
