Not sure if this was posted anywhere else yet, but here are pics of Godzilla and Angilas...the 1955 30 cm versions that is They are painted "colored" versions of the 30 cm figures, supposedly being released as a set. Personally, I think both 30 cm figures are inferior to the 25 cm figures. Additionally, I've always prefered the grey/monochrome paint scheme on the 55 figures and it fits more with the black and white film they're both in. Easy pass.





I'm really curious to see the new Angilas 68 25cm figure (or is it 20cm? I wonder if Xplus even knows at times!)...

If my Japanese is correct (and it's been known to be wrong before haha), the pre-orders go until Aug. 20th, 6pm. G68 comes with a Minya exclusive around 15cm ( :kitty: ). I *think* it says that Angilas comes with with an Lunar SY3 exclusive (now this pretty cool if correct), but I will try to confirm this later on (Japanese gf is out of town to help me confirm my translation).







I agree with Klen7, I need to see the painted version of Angilas before making up my mind on it...it would be the one I'm most interested in. Looks great in the second complete body profile pic, but the angle of the first pic makes its snout seem a little short (again, could just be the angle).

As for the 68 Godzilla...eh, just not feeling this one (I already have the Xplus Gonad Goji 71, and judging from these pics alone it seems like a superior figure to this)....

I have absolutely no interest in a 30 cm Gamera...

Does it say anything about the closed mouth G68? That's what is selling me on the sculpt ...that and imagining my wife's face when I add another Minya to the collection

Their 25 cm sculpts are almost always superior to their 30cm sculpts so we might be in for a treat. I kind of wish they just stopped the 30cm line and concentrated on the 25cm myself. It's cheaper, nicer looking and takes up less space.
