It's in a 30cm series, but due to the way it's manufactured it will likely come in shorter like the last one in the Yuji Sakai series.. so 28cm or 11 inches.

::EDIT:: not sold through ric-boy site, or stores. only through Bandai Premium. limit 1 per customer... If they do this on future releases this is really going to hurt US collectors. Especially if middle men services can only get one figure.

It is interesting to note that their display pictures include a "peg" to keep G'91s tail elevated.

I really dig Xplus' 25cm Gigan....^^As for their 30 cm figure, not so much....

Couldn't get a good lighting so skreeonk it. Visor is really bright. It looks orange in pics though, its like a bloody red.



I've heard about the 25cm Gigan but only saw it in photos. Does anyone has both 25 and 30cm Gigans to compare? I'm interested to know the differences.

I have the 25cm figure... it's pretty much the most perfect Gigan figure ever released. Which is funny, because the Marmit Iron Joe which came out a couple months prior held that title in my mind for a very short while.

They just seemed to nail the proportions and wings perfectly, which is where the 30cm falters slightly.. I'd still rank the 30cm pretty highly, but behind those (admittedly incredibly difficult to get now) figures.

The ricboy version of the 25cm had a glowing visor but you had to remove his head (!!!!) to turn it on or off (like the 61 mothra)... im glad they've moved to the external switches.

Whoa that sounds like a hassle to turn on the visor. Rich Eso just made a video of Gigan and compares both 25cm and 30cm together. Most notable was the head sculpt, the 25cm looked meaner and the top horn is curved forward rather than the 30cm which is kinda straight up with a slight curve forward. Both have their differences.

At least I got him, I been searching for a deal on Gigan for 2 years

God damnit. I was doin' good, only having the Gigantic '95 as my sole X-Plus now (which I may/may not keep) - but now that awesome-looking '91 comes out. I don't even have a huge love for the 91, my love is the 95, but that's a really nice and iconic sculpt. Might be tempted to pick it up... I could even see that replacing the 95 if I decided I need something a bit smaller scale.

^^^That Super X is a Ric Boy extra. You'll close to never get that without buying G'84.

But there are resin models still available that you can customize to look like that.

I was hoping to get an update on Dinosaur Tank. The sign next to the prototype in Wonderfest had the numbers "5" and "2015." I thought that sign meant the figure would be released in May, or maybe preorders will open in May. I can't read Japanese.

I think they'll put more up. Usually its more than 2... somewhere in the 4-6 range most months. So there is still hope.
