Nothing is wrong with it, but the Mothra one is my favorite picture in this thread so far, so i thought it worth mentioning.

oh well okay, just wondered what the visual impression may have been. I appreciate feedback whether positive or negative. I can deal with the negative just as well as the positive.

I think the segmented look of Ultraseven looks kind of wonky. And that's not a pic problem, that's just the nature of the figure that all of those joints are so noticable. On Mothra though, they blend seemlessly into the figure...kind of like the Monsterarts kaiju figures. Nice pics all the same though Tim. I just prefer the Mothra one too. Looks epic :D

Not a cool pic, but something silly I thought and made as I was cleaning shelves today.

I posted some back in 2011. It's not grown by much, and most of it is boxed away right now. :/

Well posting three new Mothra pics I did.

This one is Mothra on Infant Island and there is a surprise for the future! :P I painted the egg myself using a photo editor. No liquid paint at all.
Image

This one is Mothra leaving Infant Island answering the calls of the Shobijin. I created the sea environment myself with a photo & paint editor. I also added in the lighting to the side and the waves. The rocks are mine though and arranged by me. I tried to give it that rocky shore island look. I needed to work on that water some more, and that lighting is too strong on the left, but hey next time...

Image

This is an underneath angle and I enhanced it some. I rather like this as it looks like the actual movie prop and not a toy.

Found my old Christmas village buildings and decided to put it out this year.
It's kind of awesome, if I do say so myself.

and this last one because I noticed how creepy Daimajin looked in the back.

I legit like that Mothra, but I wish it had been bigger somehow so the legs could be articulated.

 I'd never get the X-Plus just because of the price tag.

Trust me man, I've gotten sick of those price tags. When I was single, in a better paying job, I'd buy them occasionally but there's just no reason those figures should cost that much. I'm glad I own the ones I do, but it's a horrible line to start collecting. I recommend everyone picking up a figure or two in the line, preferbly of your favorite kaiju...just don't get used to picking up figures in the line unless you're rich or don't value things like health care, saving for retirement, computers, phones or new cars lol.

I've spent some fair sums for the few Bullmarks I have, but I think 150 or thereabouts is my limit for stuff. Unless it's a gigantic toy.

LOL get as many X-Plus figures as you can before you get married & have kids. That's what I'm doing. haha

I'm wanting a new car bad, the Nissan GT-R but that would be the end my Godzilla toy collecting days....

While I'm not gonna buy many X-Plus figures, I'm just gonna skip the kids thing so I can keep collecting.

The DINK (dual income, no kids) lifestyle did wonders for my collecting... now that kid is here....

Yeah, we're just starting out so our dual incomes aren't so great at the moment. Going to Grad school next fall...hopefully that'll improve things eventually, but by the time I finish school I'll prob be 30 and it'll be baby making time lol. I know my collecting days are mostly behind me at this point...kind why I've splurged this year, to get my collection to something I'm happy looking at.

As most collectors know..there'll always be things I want...but the things I feel like I "needed" I more or less have...with a tiny bit of space still for anything else that comes out and blows me away.

Look for an updated collection photo from me in the coming months.
