Decided to give my Toho Movie monster male muto a sex change since I for some reason can't seem to wait for a female muto figure that will look good around all of the other 6inc stuff.







It's still a work on progress but I like what I've done so far.

So I learned that I can't mold or paint for anything...... Anyway I will take better photos later after touch up but here is what I got at the moment.....
Seems like I can draw but I still can't paint models for the love of G.
Note: Legos make good building material design.

I applaud your effort RaptorG. What paints did you use? I think I could be able to give you some tips.

Tamiya spray cans are awesome. I use them for Gundam projects. And the bottles are nice for smaller pieces. The Muto's black color has a bit of grey in it. Something similar to Tamiya Spray TS-82 Black Rubber might work for the overall color, and it gives a matte finish too. I do think like some kind of bone white or some greyish color might work for the skin texture on Muto. If you look at the 3DCG model of the Mutos they have greys and browns as well, and I think those could be done with dry brushing.

The talk of Alien Isolation got me in the mood to want to play around with some more dark pictures of my Alien figures. As such, I took a few pictures with different lighting of one of my display shelves.

Tomorrow I am probably going to pick up the gray impact set as I'm starting to have some fun with the beige one.

The mats and buildings come from this tabletop game. Inexpensive for all that you get and it's a blast to set it up.
