Not feeling him right now, which is weird.

Hm, I’d have preferred the ‘95 suit (with swap-out elbow spike arms!).

But this one does look pretty cool. I still kinda regret not getting the ‘96 version.

I figured out what is wrong with it, he doesn't look mean enough.

Yeah, the face (maybe just the eyes, even) don’t look fierce enough.

EDIT:
Comparing it to a few screenshots, two things stood out to me. The nose of the figure is too “upturned” making it look more cute and less sinister. The pupils on the eyes are pointed forward towards the front corner of the eye instead of being centered in the eye, which also somehow makes it look more cute and less mean.

Both things are VERY subtle, but they somehow have enough impact to create a rather noticeable difference in the “meanness” of his appearance.

I agree that the face is off. It's still a nice figure, but the distinct features (nose, eyes) that make this Gamera are lacking.

Well I ordered a KiryuGoji from Amazon to replace my defective one I got from AmiAmi and he too has jacked up eyes. -_-

Annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd my KiryuGoji replacement from Amazon has eyes even worse than the first one they sent me. It won't even let me order another replacement, only a straight up refund. WTF? That's three figures now in a row with bad eyes. How did Diego Doom get two with perfect eyes?

Damn that hella sucks. I wanted to get this KiryuGoji, but waited until it came out to see reviews. I started seeing quite a few complain about bad, misplaced, poorly painted, wonky eyes. It got to the point where everyone who received their figure with decent eyes posted pics and said they were relieved.

So the 62 version has been revealed. It looks pretty cool. I hope there is a Kong to go with him soon.

Hey, you found more pics than the ones on TK! Are there more? This guy looks incredible. I never bought the ‘64 because I didn’t like the articulation choices (or the size), but this guy looks great! Really makes me wish they’d do an all new ‘64 (with interchangeable GvTT and GTTHM heads)...

I'm going to wait on two things before I decide to get him:

1. If they do Kong to go with him.

2. I want to see the paint job of his eyes before I commit.

The designs are great and the tweaks to Godzilla "fix" most of my minor issues with the '14 design. I wonder if Ghidorah's wings and legs will be more possible in released version or the size and weight will keep them less articulated. The necks look more posable than the 90's Ghidorah. Also, how big of a loan will I need to buy the new Ghidorah? He looks MASSIVE as hell.

I'm most excited about the Rodan photo. I've seen some other pictures and I love the design. King Ghidorah looks epic, but those huge wings look like they may collapse/break easily. The updated Godzilla looks nice as well.

So my big purchase at G-Fest was the SHMA G'62. It was $11 more than if I bought it off Amazon but whatever, I just consider that an up charge for the experience of the convention and an "immediately-in-hand" convenience fee.

Anyway, it took some looking at the production shots, but for quite awhile, it looked like his hands were swapped.

I mean look at it...

But, apparently, it's supposed to be that way.

I got NECA's G'62 as well and while that was an amazing figure for NECA, and hopefully an upward trend for future figures, I love the MonsterArts one more.
