Yep, and here's yet another goofy Bandai Creation auction, now ended by the seller.
Showa MechaGodzilla, was $399 with $475 Buy it Now.



I already have the figure but I asked the seller:
the price on this: is it a mistake, off by a decimal point?

And they replied:
No its not. thanks

Glad i got mine for like $20 a few years ago.

They just reissued the Mechagodzilla, too. Bought it for $13 a week or so ago in Toys R Us. And if I can do that in the bumblefunk nowhere region where I live, there's no excuse for such outrageous gouging on eBay.

Since there are no pictures on there, what are the "fusion" ones like?

I went ahead and ordered the... regular, non-fusion Gigan and MechaG. Hopefully it will arrive when my wife isn't home. >_>

The Fusion figures are the Bandai Creation molds in clear vinyl. Gigan's the same old BC Showa mold in clear green, for example.

Hey guys. What the hell did you originally pay for these marmit figures I currently see on Ebay? I doubt anybody here would pay over $200 for thes Marmit figures? Overpriced or what?






And this Burning Godzilla too.



I'm no expert on buying Marmits since I dont have any....but do you guys think this is too much of a price for a figure like this?

Why do I bring this up? Because I saw this *exact* same figure yesterday at a store in Shibuya...for 15,000 yen (about $160-$170).

That's a pretty good deal these days. Too bad it's the butt ugly '91 headsculpt. Their '89 sculpt is significantly better. I mean, a lot. This 91 sculpt reminds me of this cheap gum ball dispenser thing that came out around the time of the Trendmasters stuff. The face looked more like a dog than Godzilla.

EDIT: just checked the CT Database. Whatdya know? The 89 & 91 Marmit MH are two completely different figures. I always thought it was the same figure with two different headsculpts. Hmm.
