On the downside, Best Buy just smashed them into the box so the slipcases are jacked up to hell.

And unlike other slipcases, they're not just cardboard to look cool, they're the actual cover.

Yeah I was gonna say too the discs are a real b*tch to get out in the steel books. At least you know they're safe and secure but it horrifies me getting them out.

I finished the first disc to Orb. Unfortunately, they use the exact same subtitles that were on Crunchyroll, erorrs and all. As such, sometimes the subs fly by before you can read them and they still haven't translated the opening and ending songs. This does worry me though that we are still going to end up with ???? for a Nexus episode title. Regardless, it is so nice to be able to watch this show without the HD dropping in and out on a consistent basis ike it did on Crunchyroll. I'm still enjoying the show immensely, though, I forgot how silly the earlier episodes were.

EDIT: So they gave episodes 14 and 15 the same desciption in the booklet.

The trick to safely removing discs from the spindle design used on these steelbooks is that you only need to press in one of the three spokes, but you need to press it all the way in (the tip of a thumbnail or screwdriver is the easiest way). You'll notice that two of the three spokes are in line with the dipped ridges at the outer edge of the disc. Press one of those spokes in, then lift the disc from the dipped ridge in the same direction. The plastic on the inner spokes is stiff enough that pressing one in fully gives you a few seconds to remove the disc before it returns to its original position.

One way I've also found to make it easier to remove discs from a Steelbook spindle is to also have it laying on the couch or something soft so the case can bend down as you press down on the hub.

Watched a couple episodes of Orb and I was surprised by how much better it could look on blu versus the HD files I've watched before. I guess that's obvious but it still caught me off guard.

^WOOHOOOO! Can't wait to finally watch Ultraman Jack, and those February release dates give me enough time to finish (Christmas presents) Seven, Orb, and Geed.

It makes so much since that a single release for Orb Fight was a misprint and it's just being bundled with The Origin Saga. I'm kind of surprised we're getting that one at all, seeing as how it was an Amazon Prime co-production I wondered if it was even available for licensing!

Dyna, Gaia, and Agul being in Origin just makes me hungry for getting those 90s shows!

Origin Saga is twelve episodes. I haven't seen it yet but it LOOKS incredible. Possibly the best-looking foray into space fantasy then Ultra series has made yet and that's already one of my favorite aspects of the franchise (Zero the Movie ♡♡♡).

Why would you assume that? It'll probably be six episodes on one disc, seven on another.

At this point I really doubt they'd use the TV versions of the movies. I think we're in good hands. I could see each movie accompanied by its respective side stories/Ultra Fights. Zero would have vs.Darklops Zero, Saga would have Killer the Beatstar and the two Ultra Zero Fights. I would imagine Ghost Reverse (prequel to Galaxy Legends) would be included with Mebius given he's the main character and the side stories were still shot in SD at that point.

To be honest, I have never heard of Ultra Fight before this release, so I had no idea how they were done.

Anyway, with Return's release in Feb I hope that means we don't see Ace until May.
