Just announced at SDCC, the first ever R1 release of a Sentai series. This was the show the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers came from.

Yeah, since Ultra Q and Ultraseven didn't include any kind of dub, I wouldn't expect these to either.

I cannot wait. I hope this sells well enough for them to release more series like Dai and Kaku.

Oh wow that sounds super terrific!
Now if they can just maybe start bringing some Showa Kamen Rider shows over. Plus also Jetman Sentai would be nice.

Preordered it the other day but I want to cry because I paid $500 to get the whole series on DVD from Japan WITHOUT subtitles. Now I am going to pay a fraction of the price WITH subtitles.

Wasn't trying to compare prices but just the purchasing from alternate means only to have it release in the main/local market aspect reminded me of his curse.

Kain, I moved your review to this thread. (Nice vid, BTW).
I picked this up this week and I'm on episode 7 (I think) and I'm still trying to put my finger on it. I don't think I was prepared for how DIFFERENT it is than MMPR (which is basically ingrained in my brain at this point). I'm still trying to figure out the characters, for example. I'm almost ten episodes in and I don't know much about anybody. I DONT miss the kiddie humor of the Sabam stuff but so far, I like the MMPR characters more so far (is that sacrilege)?. And the tone is just beyond bizarre. I'm slowly getting used to it.
