Might be worth asking here since it's on the topic of questionable GMK subtitles anyway, but I was always a little confused by the almost non-sequitur moment when Yuri is in the bike shop and mentions she works for BS Digital Q, to which the eldery shop owner replies, "Oh, Bridgestone?" Is there some context to this pointless scene that I'm missing?
More related to the subtitles specifically, how about the makeup of souls in Godzilla? I know the old subtitles portray it as all those who died in the Pacific War and have now been forgotten, while the original intent is supposedly those who died specifically at the hands of the Japanese military.
Gonna leave it at that rather than attempt to grill Keith on any oddity I can remember from the old GMK subs, just wondering as this is the Blu-Ray release I'm anticipating second-most out of this Sony batch, after Godzilla 2000.
