On impulse I picked up Season 1 of Transformers: Beast Wars. I watched G1 a lot when I was a really little kid, but this show I have better memories of.

Picked this up tonight at Borders Books for 40% off (came to 16 bucks, about what you'd get it for at Amazon)

I've been wanting to catch this for some time, and Danny Boyle never ceases to amaze me....

Just got Latitude Zero in. I've never seen this, so I'm looking forward to some craziness.

Monk: Season 5 at Best Buy ($10 after their $5 off Coupon)

Sky Captain And The World of Tomorrow - on Blu-Ray, it was on sale at Best Buy for $8, not sure how much longer though.

Stargate 15th Anniversary Edition - Blu-Ray. I found it at Big Lots for $8, from what I've read this is the Blu-Ray release to get. There's an earlier BR release (just the extended cut) that Wal-Mart has been selling for $6 lately but it doesn't have nearly as many extras and lacks the theatrical cut.

Voltron both Lion and Vehicle series. I ordered RightStuf.com's complete Voltron bundle for $65, it has all of Lion Force & Vehicle Force as well as a t-shirt.

I already had the Blue and Green Lion sets and was originally just going to order what I needed through Amazon's Marketplace. But I did some price checking and found that I'd spend less just ordering the bundle from RightStuf. Now all I need to do is get GoLion and DaiRugger XV and I'll be set.

Just got in Dogora (another Toho film I haven't seen) and the Classic Media Godzilla's Revenge DVD (for some reason I just never picked it up.)

I think Dogora is one of my favourite Toho films. It's just weird to the max. Wait for the climax/ending... yeah.

Just got a blu-ray player along with the Gamera double-pack blu-ray fom my brother for my b-day. He must have felt sympathy because I didnt have one yet and with all the cool kaiju blu-rays coming out. Can't wait to start picking up more.

Peace,

Dogora caught me by surprise by how much I enjoyed it the first time I saw it many many years ago. Watched it again last year and I still enjoyed it thoroughly.

I hope that there are many more released in the future for you to pick up as well. You know so you can have lot's of great kaiju movies on blu-ray, not so that I can purchase them as well.

$8, $8, $4, $12, and $5, respectively.
Borders going out of business - 50% off all Blurays and select DVDs. (25% off other DVDs, I passed up The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly, the first Hellboy, Midnight Meat Train on blu, and a few others that caught my fancy because i'm pretty sure i woulda been yelled at if i came home with 12 new blurays, some of which i already have the DVD of...)

Finally got the Star Man R1 DVDs, both vol. 1 and vol. 2. A little odd that it took over a month to get here but at least they came.

Despite how nice that MST3K set looks I think I will be skipping that. I've never been a fan of MST3K. Not a big fan of commentary, whether it's a special feature or the main aspect.

Picked this up at Borders for 50% off (REALLY gonna miss that place):

Even though I've never seen it, I figured at that price it wasn't going to hurt me too much. I read the book some years ago and was blown away by it and am in the process of rereading it, so once I finish it this time around I'll have a go at the film.

Got this in the mail today and looking forward to finally getting to see this iconic show. The hat was a special give away from Generation Kikaida with purchase of V3 until the end of August.

Here are the insides of the case since these are not in thin packs sleeves.
