Kinda surprised that Mill Creek has yet to give us a teaser or trailer for the release in less than a month now.

Can't wait to see the series in crystal clear, remastered HD on blu-ray though! It's something I wanted since
Tsuburaya announced they were remastering it years ago.

I plan on watching the discs through my Xbox One X that also upscales blu rays. Exciting times for an
Ultraman fan!

Would love for the Funko Pop! company to work with Tsuburaya/Starlight Runner for a Pop license for
all the Ultraman figures. Can you imagine a Baltan or Pigmon Funko Pop!?

MC really doesn't do too much advertising, but Movie Spree has 10 minute clips of each series episode 1 of the first few releases

Also Funko has released Ultraman Pop figures to Asian markets, I believe the first US one was a SDCC exclusive this year (but don't quote me on that)...makes me think they will be coming to general US distribution sooner than later

Pre-order prices have come down for Orb and Geed to the same as Q and Ultraman (as expected). but I didn't expect that Ultraseven would come down to that price as well. I thought it and the other series (Ace, Taro, Leo) that have a 50 +/- episode count would be at least $10 more for their sheer length, but its cool that they aren't. Now, this may make one complain about shorter/newer series such as Orb & Geed being the same price, for roughly half the content (even including movies), but for those prices, I certainly wont be complaining

Got an email from Amazon a few days ago telling me my Ultraman pre-oreder price had come down a bit and the delivery date was set for on or before 10/15. With or without the dubs, guess it won't be long now!

That is pretty cool. Fingers still crossed we get good news about the ultraman dub! I’m getting Ultra Q and Ultraman for sure because I want to watch them, but it would be even sweeter if I could watch Ultraman with my kids (I’d love the Ultra Q dub too, for the same reason, but I know that’s highly unrealistic... has it ever been released anywhere?).

I’m still undecided about buying any other sets but I would totally watch them if they come to any of the streaming services I subscribe to.

Keith said United Artists/MGM did/has the dub for Ultraman. It sounds as if it's a bit too late in the game to get the dubs into this release but hinted that there might some discussions about what they'd do if they found them now. I'd think if, after everything has been released (or mostly), they could do a big boxset with the the "classics", which Keith says will be Ultra Q through Ultraman Taro, and they could put the Ultraman dub in that set. That's just MY guess IF they find/get them from MGM.

But he said Ultra Q was dubbed by CBS. Maybe I misheard and it was TBS (Tokyo Broadcasting System) made the dub and then they were sent to the states? I don't know, and it is moot to me. Companies were not so forward thinking to save materials for possible fans 50+ years later and they have been basically lost forever.

Checking out the podcast again, yeah, CBS dubbed Ultra Q but those copies ended up with UA/MGM, but since they don't own the rights to the show they're just "sitting in a warehouse somewhere" and no one's looked at them to verify what they are. He says a request has been put in for them but that's a multi-month process. It's got to be found, see what it is and if it's even usable, and then transferred.

So my fingers are crossed but I'm not too hopeful that we'll actually get the dubs.
