I'm going with XvGojira on this, too. The MSRP was almost $100 more than what I paid at Costco and what Amazon was selling it for the day it released ($175). Do the math and I'd guess it would be around $150 for the barebones Blu set, which is actually quite reasonable, IMHO.
Any way you slice it, it is an awesome release, worthy of every fan of the show. There are instances of film defects, some occasional dirt, etc., but I mean OCCASIONALLY. Compared to the bootleg garbage that was all that was available up until now, it is lightyears beyond. There's a split-screen comparison showing the remastering work included with the set, and I've watched it online, too, and it is pretty incredible. If only ALL older shows got this sort of clean up.
