Bought Yamada's First Time & Cat Planet Cuties at work for about $67.

This is my first Blu-Ray Purchases, though I don't own a Blu-Ray Player.
Since these came with DVD versions as well.

Up through disc 6 of Mai-Otome (really easy to do since Bandai only does 4 episodes per disc) and will most likely finish tommorow (or later today).

Now I have an actual "unwatched" pile, so I will be catching up.
Still need to finish El Cazador (took a break to watch Mai-Otome).

The first season of The World God Only Knows ran on The Anime Network not too long ago. It was interesting to see video games, dating sims specifically, so intergral to the premise of a show even though I don't really play dating sims. Overall I found the show pretty entertaining.

Finished both Mai-Otome & Mai-Otome Zwei.

Both had decent endings.

Is that S.Ifr thing worth checking out?

Probably will get back into El Cazador tonight.

Decided to go with Cat Planet Cuties instead of El Cazador.
It's a short 12 episode show, which has quite a bit of action in it.
Of course there is quite a bit of fanservice in it as well.
Since it's aimed at an older audience, it can show full detail on the breast area. Even for the "flat" girl. Obviously there is a bit of comedy as well.
As per usual with Funimation it has a good dub with solid acting.
The "helper droids" are really cute & funny as well.

I think I got it at some local convenience store that used to rent VHS tapes.
It was from Hi-Tops Video and was in a slightly oversized VHS case (similar to the Disney VHS boxes), though the label was obviously from a normal VHS sized box. It was maybe 3-4 episodes long with a very to be continued ending.

BTW some other stuff like Gaiking, Macron 1, & Dancougar got VHS releases in the US as well.

Episode 31 of AGE initially seemed really boring, but the types of enemy mobile suits as well as the character interactions on board the Diva helped. Dique's grandson is introduced and is an "OH GODZILLA! WHAT TERRIBLE LANGUAGE!" for no real reason and then turns around for no real reason. That was pretty terrible, but I like how dysfunctional this crew is, and introducing some other characters onboard helps it look like an actual running ship. Here's hoping the next episode keeps this particular generation a little closer to the first and little less like the 2nd.

I wanted a bunch of the enemy kits, but I only got one because Ohayocon was somewhat limited in their stock.

I watched episode 33 today. They've finally had the government be all "WE ARE IN CONTROL OF THE GUNDAM" only took them three generations to take it away from the Asemu family. This thing is losing my interest really quickly, but I might as well ride it out to the end at this point, right?

The Anime Network started running Towa no Quon a few weeks ago, part 4 will available this week.

These have been awesome to watch, it's a henshin hero style series of movies/episodes that are reminscient of the showa Kaman Rider shows. The animation style is generally inline with current anime but there's some nice touches of the 70s-80s style here and there, such as the lead character Quon's character design.
