I loved every bit Gundam 00-- Flaws and all. Season 1 is the best thing about it, but season 2 wasn't bad. It just neglected some character growth, which was hard to do anyway since it was juggling so many. The movie was a disappointment, but it holds up on repeat viewings. I liked it more the second time around.
But I really love 00 as a whole. I hadn't enjoyed a series this much since 08th Mobile Suit Team. (Or if we're not counting OVAs, Gundam Wing.)
I'll agree on Seed though. I didn't like it or its Destiny counterpart one bit. This AGE show isn't doing anything for me either.

I heard the Bandai America DVD of Unicorn Volume 2 (which contains episodes 3&4) is the last they will be releasing??- If that is true, who will release a 3rd volume (containing episodes 5-7) if/when they eventually come out??

They are pricey indeed, but with the huge gap inbetween the release I have more than enough time to save up the money, 2 volumes per year is fine by me.
