https://mobile.twitter.com/VintageHensh ... 8255415296Like Shin Godzilla, they've gone back to the early concept art, although this time the look is much closer to the classic Ultraman everyone remembers from 1966. He looks an awful lot like the original A type suit (lanky and not overly muscular), though the wide mouth reminds me of the final C type suit.
The most radical change, really the only radical change, is the absence of the color timer -which was a last-minute addition back in the day. Although the timer makes sense on a half hour TV show I understand the inconvenience of it in a movie - and whenever Ultras make the leap to the big screen they play fast and loose with the time limit, anyway.
Pretty happy with how classic he looks.
