Before Dairanger used the mythological creature motif there was Changeman, Soda's follow up to 1984's groundbreaking Bioman. Here, five soldiers from the Earth Defense Force are given powers from a mystical energy known as the Earth Force to battle the evil alien empire known as the Great Star Cluster Gozma. Join me as I learn if the hype I have endured surrounding this series these last 13 years is up to par.

While the Changeman costumes appear on Super Megaforce, we never saw the people who wore the costumes in the American version of that team.
