totally agree, he really 'becomes' Zero.

And that one scene in the alley when he had to deliver some papers and was fighting with Zero (Zero trying to raise the glasses),..and he somehow did some kind of crazy forward flip or something into a pile of trash bags,..I had no idea the guy was so acrobatic.


...sort of reminded me of Ash fighting his possessed hand in Evil Dead.

I suppose the actor is/was some kind of dancer or martial artist?

No idea. But it would be a logical assumption.

I found it, it's Geed episode 11, around the 7:50 mark. Leito fights his internal Zero in an alley.

It's a great scene. And at 8:05 is a pretty amazing one armed back flip!

^Agreed on Leito; he's become a surprising highlight of the show.
^^^^^^^Also agreed on that two-parter; I still don't really like Moa, but that was an engaging story and a nice sidestep from the main arc.

really good show so far. Surprised no one seems to be talking about it here.

I was on top of the last two series, but life has been so busy I haven't touched Geed yet

I think Geed has been an overall set down in writing quality from the previous two shows; Geed is so focused on high stakes that it rushes the process. The show gives us a new cliffhanger every few episodes (complete with ominous narration), but rarely builds the emotional strength needed to be invested in how dire the events are. Moments like should be huge moments - but they're not, not really. Seeing these events happen so often also hurts their dramatic value; no single event stands out as the biggest, baddest crisis.
There have been good things in the show, though, and I feel like the show might be in an upswing now. Episode 20 might be the best yet - subverting the power-up plot device entirely by rendering it moot, and focusing more on the mystery and strategy behind defeating the monster. It also presents Geed's relationship to the public quite well, and features some neat scripting and a welcome return of another classic Ultra monster. We needed episodes like these a while ago.

...I wonder what it's like seeing Ultraman on a movie theater screen? I bet it's cool seeing The Giants on a giant screen.

Would be neat to see an Ultra movie in an american theater but I'd want to see it subbed or something,..I wouldn't want a dumbed down american version of Ultraman, I'd want an actual Ultraman movie.

That would be cool. Hopefully it'll run at a theater near me.

At this point I only go to the theater for Godzilla and Star Wars so it'd be nice for something else to come out I want to see on a big screen.

FYI, there's supposed to be a big Ultraman announcement on December 1st and everyone seems to think it's gonna be an anime adaptation of the current Ultraman manga.

That's interesting that they have an English Ultraman logo in the title. It reminds me a little of the font they used for Orb Origin Saga.

I just started binging this show on Crunchy Roll today and I'm hooked. So far its a fun little show, great spfx and a cool little story. I'm 4 episodes in and I think The Salaryman/Zero is my favorite character so far.

Out of curiosity, how close is this show to being done? The last episode I watched was 4 and i'm trying to decide if I should try to start back up this week or just wait until next month when things hopefully get a little less hectic.

Holy "OH GODZILLA! WHAT TERRIBLE LANGUAGE!" the show is awesome! I'm on episode 16 The First Day of the End of the World and everything is awesome. Laiha is awesome. Beliel is awesome. That thing beliel transformed into is awesome. This show is amazing!
