I had an idea that The Inhumans movie would somehow become the finale of Agents of Shield. (Kind of like X-Files and several other shows, having a movie in theaters after several years on TV) Guess it still could be...but it would be on TV instead of the cinema. I just don't like the whole situation that has developed in the past few years where because FOX continues to use X-Men, Marvel Comics has basically given X-Men comics the screw job and *replaced* them with The Inhumans, seemingly at the will of Marvel Studios. The Inhumans have always been around, and yes they can serve to make some interesting story telling, but not need to effectively kill off one the most popular selling titles of the past 30+ years (X-Men) just because of the way things are playing out in the MCU. (We don't like you FOX playing with OUR toys so you know what? -Magneto is no longer Scarlet Witch & Quicksilver's Father, in fact you know what? They aren't even mutants any more NYEAHH NYEAHHH...)Heck even the mediocre animated series are effected. Sure they still *can* use Mutants, (and the F4 for that matter) but other than a few paltry references and appearances, these characters are for the most part ignored. It seems strange to me that The Superhero Squad (a comedic take on the Marvel Universe for kids) got more things right than the current Marvel toons on Disney, and SHS was barred from using Spider-Man and all associated characters on the TV show despite being featured on all other merchandise related to the show.
I Imagine if after a 5 year absence they brought back SHS for a 3rd season, Wolverine would disappear and be replaced by Spider-Man, The X-Men and F4 would disappear as secondary characters and be replaced by The Inhumans and GotG. Doom (one of the central and best/most hilarious villains of the show) would suddenly be gone, and I guess we would never see a redeemed Silver Surfer rejoin the team...Thinking about it now, it was probably best the show ended after 2 seasons.
There are no more good TV Shows, only ones that haven't disappointed me yet.
