I hope the look and spirit of Power Rangers is kept when this movie is made.

If people want sleek designs, that's fine,

I don't want Pacific Rim looking Megazords. Or Gundam looking Megazords. I want bright colorful HEROIC designs that look like they would make good action figures.

Doesn't look much like the old Rita. I can see some spiky bits, stuff around her neck, and bronze bits in common. That's about it. One its own merits, the design is not terrible, but I'd love to see what the new Rita looks like with a colour palette closer to the classic one.

They've been filming this movie two blocks from my house for the last two weeks in downtown Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada. It's been quite the event for my little town.

New Rita looks like she could really create the Evil Green Ranger.

I wouldn't call her RINO in till I see the movie however.

I hope they go through a scene where Zordon gives them all their uniforms and they call him out for being racist by giving the black suit to the black guy and yellow to the Asian chick. Then call him out for being sexist giving the white girl a pink suit. Zordon has no idea cause he's a alien.

I can't wait until the suits are revealed and instead of being spandex, they're essentially jaeger pilot outfits, just with blacked-out visors and people lose their minds.

... that reminds me: the battle gear the defense team wore in Ultraman X reminded me of the Jeager pilot outfits. I wonder if that was the inspiration?

I'm going to err on the side of caution and not post them, but some photos of Rita have been leaked from the filming of the movie. It looks like I may have been right. Dunno if this is really spoiler-worthy, but...
