The Jaegers look okay. They don't have as much personality as the previous ones. Can't wait to see a kaiju.

Honestly, this stuff is better than a traditional teaser trailer. I dig this approach. Here's another thingy that you're supposed to watch on your phone.



For those wondering about solo piloting: DeKnight confirms The Drift and the two pilot system are still in use in this movie.

Here's the nifty looking' toys. Seeing their vibrant color schemes really makes the new jeagers pop, in my opinion. I especially like Guardian Bravo's paint job, which makes it look like something from an '80s anime.

I think the fact that the giant robot wields an enormous spiked mace shows the franchise is in good hands.

^I thought for what it was, a in-universe recruitment promo whipped up in no doubt short order because no actual teaser would be ready in time for Comic Con, it was pretty good. Necessity = invention and all that. I mean, I viewed it in the same resect as the 'Special Announcement' teasers old kaiju films got before there was any actual footage.

The music was terrible. Shockingly terrible. And the rendering was...let's just hope this thing was slapped together in short order because...yikes.

I've only seen them confirm the Drift system is still in play, i havent seen them confirm Boyega isn't solo piloting
