This cool guy i know said it looks like a lot of fun but the monsters are more life the 50 ft range (so maybe Kong 33 rather than Godzilla)

It doesn't look too interesting. Shame. I like giant monsters...but this is like Kong 05-sized animals, that grow over the course of the movie and looks like they might only be "giant" in the climax.

Also, the notion from the games of the monsters being mutated people is gone. They're just a big gorilla/wolf/crocodile.

Looks like fun to me. I'm not sure why the monsters aren't mutated humans, but I'm not irritated by the change. As long as it's a better game movie with Dwayne Johnson than Doom was.

Sort of getting a "Mighty Joe Young" 1998 vibe.

I've never played the game (nor do I really know anything about it for that matter), but as my understanding, I thought it was suppose to be a giant werewolf. Here, it looks like it is just a giant wolf.

Definitely playing it straighter than I thought they would. I thought it would be more comedic... the later games blamed a toxis chemical found in a soft drink. maybe they wanted to avoid that because of the whole JJ Abrams Cloverfield useage of that. Oh well, looks like a good action flick. I know they didn't want to give to much away, but I hope *Lizzie* (or whatever they will call it), has equal screen time with the other monsters, she's my favorite for obvious reasons .

The action/SFX look fine but I am little bummed the wolf and lizzie are not bipedal. Looks like typical bottom of the barrel entertainment which was all I was expecting from this.

I find it funny that this goofy desperate movie has much easier to follow action/better looking CGI than the current mess known as the Justice League movie which probably cost more than 3x Rampage.
