I have never been a big Pixar fan, probably because I was almost 20 when Toy Story came out. Now that I have kids however... it is a little different. I still haven't seen A Bugs Life, but I think we own most of the others. I acknowledge they were the first and for the most part are the "Best" in the realm of CG, but for the most part their films just dont mesh with my personal tastes. These are the films we wait to come to the budget theater to take my kids to (Except Cars 2 which was a special event for my son).
I am more of a Dreamworks person myself. Not just their CG stuff either. Their 2D stuff like Prince of Egypt, Stallion of the Cimmeron, and Sinbad (which had some CG elements) were all great IMHO. The first Shrek is classic, and I agree that How to Train Your Dragon has been the best to date, every bit as good as any Pixar film.
But back to Pixar, it seems that potential for marketing, and keeping kids happy with sequels has changed their outlook. Weren't they supposed to d some Gecko movie for 2012? Whatever happened to that?
There are no more good TV Shows, only ones that haven't disappointed me yet.
