Aside from the Fifth Element, I've liked everything I've seen from him. I even like a lot of the movies he's produced like Danny the Dog. So as far as this one goes, why not?
I actually wouldn't mind Besson for a Godzilla movie.

Wow! This is super appropriate because The Fifth Element was essentially an homage to Valerian and the works of Moebius. Now he's working on Valerian proper!

The master filmmaker also talks about his outlines for the second and third 'Valerian' movies, why Cara Delevingne was so right for Laureline, and the likelihood of sequels to 'Lucy' and 'The Professional'.
