I would totally go for that look.
As for women superheroes, I also think there ought to be more out there. It seems that it would create kind of a more comfortable balance, I dunno. I've never read a WW comic, but I really would love to see her in a live-action setting, more so than any other super-heroine.
My other view is that women don't have to show a bunch of skin to be sexy or beautiful. I'm not saying I don't like it at all, but I hate the "pure sex appeal" characters in movies nowadays (Transformers, Battleship, I'm lookin' at you). I've changed a lot in the last several years, and I've got to the point where a woman doesn't have to have her boobs or ass hanging out to be sexy. It's how she presents herself on-screen (or in real-life, for that matter) that dictates true beauty. I know that sounds poorly philosophical, but that's the best way I can think to put it.
It's stuff like Catwoman's bad-assness and inner dilemma and Wonder Woman's values and general misunderstanding of the outside world, or Ms. Marvel's duty-stricken personality that I find most interesting about those characters. The curves don't hurt their characters at all, but they don't make them either.
