I'm really liking what we've seen of all three upcoming DC films (Aquaman, Shazam, and Wonder Woman '84). It occurred to me what I'd really like to see them do with Batman and Superman. I'd love to see Affleck and Cavill each reprise the roles at least one more time in their own individual films. My idea is for a pair of films, released about 6 months apart. The first would be the Batman film and the second would be the Superman film. I'd like to see them take the little end credits stinger from Justice League and run with it. Have Luthor hire Deathstroke to help him carry out some evil plan. Batman would take on deathstroke in his film and Superman would combat Luthor in his. If this goes well it could pave the way to JL2 featuring Darkseid as the big bad.

As for Affleck returning again in JL2, they could try to get him for one final swan song. Or they could follow up on the hints they've already dropped in BvS and JL that he's getting too old to keep up. They could use his solo film to run with a knightfall scenario where he recruits and trains his replacement throughout the film (could be Azreal, could be one of the Robins) and even have the climax show them teaming up as the only way to beat deathstroke. Bruce could retire and then debut the new Batman in JL2.

Oh man, the more I think about it the more I really want this to happen!!

Seems kind of bogus. There are several sequels on there, but not the original. Also Godzilla is listed twice. There's only one LP Godzilla so far

The Snyder Justice League trilogy sounds like it would have been mighty impressive. If a Snyder cut for JUSTICE LEAGUE exists , I hope WB releases it -- maybe a Fathom Events release followed by home video, a lot of people seem interested in what might have been.

^ here's the thing about a Snyder cut that I don't think the people clamoring for a Snyder cut get: it must be woefully unfinished if it exists in its entirety at all. For big stretches of the movie you probably have scenes that mostly exist as animatics or even just still storyboards and pre-viz. It would take many millions to complete, not to mention the probability of needing retakes and extra scenes of the actors. What company in their right mind would spin, say, 30 million dollars on a glorified DVD extra?

Surely it'd be easier to add moustaches, right? I think the culprit is that all the merch already featured a clean shaven Superman.

So it was Snyder's intention to prematurely kill Superman using an insultingly ill-conceived Doomsday?

I was absolutely unimpressed with either MoS or BvS, so I'm just as happy that his extended DC arc was cut short.

^ Yeah, sounds like more of the same Batman v. Superman style - three movies worth! While the end product was a mess I reckon WB's decision to change direction midway through Justice League's production was actually smart. They probably knew they lose a ton of money, but it was the only way to stop gangrene from setting in, you know?

It's interesting that the DC film slate is actually in a pretty stable place now, though the road to get there was rather circuitous and at odds with whatever plans they made. Now that they have proven, beloved personalities in Gadot's Wonder Woman, Momoa's Aquaman, and Robbie's Harley Quinn - they have an actual stability there. With three proven headliners, the always-reliable Batman in the rebooting stages, and Suicide Squad rebooting with the reliable James Gunn they actually have the space to do something like the New Gods or Plastic Man.

Plastic Man, the Elongated Man, AND Jimmy Olsen all had stretchy powers before Mr. Fantastic.

I would love to see a well done Plastic Man movie; there was nearly one in the 90s but based on what I've read about that movie, I'm kind of glad it never happened. If a Plastic Man movie had gotten off the ground years ago I thought that Bruce Campbell would have been a great Eel O'Brian, not sure who I'd pick nowadays.
