Exactly.
Look, I really only dig the first ALIEN movie now. All the others just don't survive the test of time. This Monster is one of the all-time greats. In the first film it's TRUE origins remained a mystery. A new adventure with this creature should be easy to Imagine. A Prequel is unneccessary. Anything linking these movies together has been ruined already. Let's go further into the Mythos ... But not reboot it. Make sense???

Maybe if the Alien were only in it as a mere cameo and the rest of the film focused on the Space Jockey and it's role in the saga....

Hopefully 20th Century Fox bases their decision on what people are hoping for in another alien movie. This to me is a good sign. But who knows. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if it was a remake at this point. I would refuse to go see though. I would find it blasphemous.

This is great news! I mean Ridley Scott directed one of my favorite movies like Blade Runner and alcourse he directed the original Alien. I can't wait to see it!

As long as the only tie-ins to the previously existing storylines are something to the effect of just nods to their existence, i'm in...
i dont need any tie-ins to ripley or anything like that at all
