That was a perfectly okay movie. Nothing special, I'll probably never feel terribly compelled to watch it again, but it was a fun couple of hours. Tom Hardy was good, the action was decent, and at times it was really funny. I wish they had leaned a lot more into the dark comedy.
The people declaring it "so bad it's good" are engaging in absurd hyperbole.
Tokyo, a smoldering memorial to the unknown, an unknown which at this very moment still prevails and could at any time lash out with its terrible destruction anywhere else in the world.
